A. Come and see us, no appointments are necessary. We are open 7 days a week, Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm. We are closed on a couple major holidays and holiday hours may be different from regular hours, so please call ahead of time.
A. Yes. We are happy to see you whenever you need medical attention. If you can't get an appointment with your regular doctor, or especially if you don't have a regular doctor, just come see us and one of our physicians will take care of you.
A. Yes, we treat patients of all ages, including children, as long as it's not life-threatening.
A. We treat a wide range of common non-life-threatening medical conditions. Please visit the Our Services page for a complete list. According to various medical industry studies, anywhere from 50%-70% of ailments seen in hospital emergency rooms could have been safely and effectively handled in a properly equipped urgent care clinic.
A. Generally speaking, if a condition does not appear to be life-threatening it can probably be safely treated at Vital Urgent Care. If you are not sure, you can call us at (949) 200-1655 during business hours and we'll give you our best advice. If you're in any doubt whether a condition is life-threatening or if it's after business hours and you're concerned about waiting until the next day, you should proceed to your nearest emergency room to be on the safe side.
A. Yes, We accept most major health insurances including nearly all PPO plans, Medicare and Monarch HMO. Please visit our Insurances Accepted page to see the complete list.
A. No insurance, is no problem. Because we see many self-pay patients we have developed a cash fee schedule that is one of the most affordable in Orange County. Please visit our Patient Area for more pricing information. Because all self-pay fees are due at the time of service, we do not bill patients or grant any credit terms.
A. We accept cash and major credit cards including VISA, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover. Bank issued pre-printed personal checks are accepted and processed as electronic debit at time of service.
A. Because we are located in such a popular vacation and business destination, we see many out of town visitors at Vital Urgent Care. We will take care of you the same as we would one of our local neighbors. Our physicians can also provide you with a copy of the records from your visit to take back to your regular doctor.
A. Nothing would make us happier. In fact, we encourage you to schedule follow up appointments for Primary Care with us whenever appropriate or indicated. All of our physicians are qualified and willing to take on primary care patients and offer appointments for your convenience. Their schedules may vary so our front desk will help you find a convenient time.
A. Vital Urgent Care is way ahead of the game on this one. Because most referrals from an urgent care visit are to primary care physicians for more in depth follow up, we can quickly and easily schedule you with one of our Board Certified Internal Medicine Physicians. You don't even have to fill out new paperwork since you're already registered with us. Vital Urgent Care also maintains close relationships with the leading specialists in the area in order to arrange quick and easy referrals when needed.
A. Yes. We have a digital X-Ray machine on-site that provides instant results and all films are also reviewed overnight by a radiologist who provides a complete report of his/her findings. We also help you avoid duplicate x-ray studies by providing you with your x-rays on a CD-ROM to take to a specialist or your family doctor when appropriate.
A. Yes. We have a selection of the most common medications for conditions we see, available for purchase on-site are very reasonable cost. We provide this service as an added convenience to patients. You can pick up your medication on the way out and get started right away on feeling better, instead of waiting at the pharmacy.
A. Yes, we regularly perform a number of routine "while you wait" lab tests on-site for your convenience. We also utilize several top quality labs in the area to perform numerous diagnostic tests as needed for the complete treatment of your condition. In addition, we perform many minor lab tests in-house such as pregnancy tests, drug tests, TB skin tests, flu, mono and strep tests.
A. Yes, we offer plenty of free walk up parking right in front of our facility. We also have designated handicapped parking spaces and are wheel chair accessible.
